Simple and advanced filtering

If the guest is orientating their stay it’s important that he/she can find their information fast and easily. Here our search filter comes in, it shows your accommodations and the current prices, prices and availability. 

Simple filtering (Default)

With simple filtering we list your accommodations and we’ll perform a price calculation for each accommodation for the selected period, persons and discount card. Ideal for small campsite’s, B&B’s or small hotels. Because the price is always the same as in the end and you are able to use all the complex pricing settings camping.care has to offer.

Advanced filtering

But if your property is bigger or if you have multiple properties, the simple filtering will be to slow in the end. This is because of the complexity of the price calculation. So to make the search faster we needed to simplify the pricing setup. Something most bigger properties do anyway, because that works best for dynamic pricing. 

So it’s good to know what the advanced filtering will support and what not. For this, we added a lightning icon to all options, taxes and discounts that are supported. 

If this sign is shown, this option will be included in the advanced filtering and price calculation. If not, no worries. This will be included in the price calculation once someone enters the shopping cart. 

Supported combinations

• Fixed amount in a certain period. Like 50,- reservation costs during high season.
• Percentage of the amount in a certain period. Like 2% tax
• Fixed amount per day. Like required costs for linen of 10,- per day. Fixed or per person. 

Add from to your price

If the advanced filtering does not completely cover your price setup, you can add the word ‘From’ before the price. This indicates that this might not be the final price.
