Each time we release a new version of our software there is a version number attached. With this version number you are sure that you have the latest version of the software. There are different applications that have all it’s own version numbering. Like the Backoffice, Api, Online Booking and Kiosk.
Where do I find the version?
Backoffice
In the backoffice you can find the version here, at the bottom of the page: https://app.camping.care/settings
API
In the API you can find the version via this endpoint: https://api.camping.care/v21/version
Booking Engine
In the booking engine you can find the version via this url: https://booking.camping.care/version
Kiosk
In the Booking Engine you can find the version via this url: https://kiosk.care/version
How are version numbers made?
A typical version number will look like this: 3.20.15.
Where the 3. stands for a major version, Typically changed once in a few years. This is only changed if there is a significant update. Like a bigger change in the UX.
The 20. stands for a normal update. This happens a couple of times per year. Like a bigger update before or after the season.
At the end there is the 15. This stands for small updates. This can contain a improvement or a bug fix. Typically we do such an update once or twice per month.
