Activate your point of sale
Go to Settings -> Payments -> Point of Sale
Once the point of sale is activated it will popup at your dashboard like this:
Pin payments
There are two possibilities for Pin Terminal payments. Manual of via an connected payment provider.
1. Manual payments. You enter the total amount in to your pin terminal by hand, once the transaction has been completed you can add it to the system.
2. Connected Pin Terminals. If your payment provider allows you to connect a pin terminal to our platform, payments are processed automatically. We will send the total amount to the Pin Terminal and process the payment automatically once the payment is done. Cash payments
With the cash desk you are able to process cash payments, close a balance and receive payments in multiple currencies.
Rounding
You can set a rounding precision of the smallest available coin in your currency. If this is 5 cents the system will round all payments to 5 cents.
If the total amount does not match the precision (5.03 for example) we will add a correction payment to fill up the gap.
Favorites products
When you search for products you can add them directly to the receipt. Or you can add them to your favorites, then they will appear on the right side and you can select them very quick the next time.
Reservation payments
Reservations can also be paid with a Pin terminal or with cash. For this you can lookup the reservation that needs to be paid and hit Add Payment, now the same POS screen pops up and you are able to start a Pin transaction or add a cash transaction.
Tip: You can change the amount if you want the guest to make a partly payment.
Tip: If you close the pos, you will be able to add a regular payment. Like a bank transfer.
