How to work with ledger accounts

1. Activate ledger accounts

Go to settings -> Invoices -> Ledgers

At the top you will see a slider that allows you to switch ledgers on and off. When this is switched on, you can see exactly which line belongs to which ledger in the reservation overview. Of course, you can also set this up yourself.

By clicking the purple ´Add ledger´ button you can create a new ledger yourself. On the right-hand side, you can modify or delete a ledger by clicking on the icon of the pencil or the bin.

2. Attach ledger numbers to products and accommodations

Make sure all products in your system are attached to ledger accounts.

Edit a product to attach it to an ledger account.

Go to products -> edit

Edit a accommodation to attach it to an ledger account.

Also accommodations are products in the system, so we can set a ledger account for this to. Go to accommodations -> edit -> settings tab

3. Invoice rows will be attached to an ledger number

4. Detailed reports in the lists per invoice row

You can also download detailed reports of all the rows in your system. Go to invoices -> rows and create your custom list. Add the ledger number to the list if it’s not in there already. Here you can easily download your data to excel or csv.

5. Get a ledger account report for accounting

Via reports you are able to get a report for a certain period. Go to reports -> New report -> Financial tab -> Journals . Here you are able to select a custom period or a fixed quater.

Here you will find a overview of the payments per method, VAT totals and the revenue per ledger account.

In this report we will show only revenue of finalized invoices. So this data can not change anymore.
